Material assistance
As part of the service, we provide food assistance in cooperation with Food Banks, wholesalers and donors. We regularly distribute not only food, but also clothing and small items of housing utensils.
Guides
Guides to councils and other agencies are an important service we offer. Our presence gives clients much needed support. The aim of providing guides is to ensure that the next time the client is able to use the services of a follow-up institution or to take care of his/her own affairs independently.
Meetings & Events
We regularly hold events to integrate our clients into the community in which they are newly living.
Housing First program
The housing program Housing First was established in early 2020 as part of the Křižovatka outreach program, which operates in the eastern part of Prague.
We provide support to people in housing need or those at risk of losing their housing. Our clients are both individuals and families. We provide support at various stages, depending on the client’s current needs – from assistance with applying for a municipal apartment, to concluding a lease agreement, to comprehensive housing support with the aim of maintaining it permanently. We have already helped 25 families and individuals to obtain and keep housing.
Our mission
The mission of the outreach program Housing First is to work towards social inclusion and positive change in the lifestyles of individuals or families who are in housing need and meet the requirements for a city/municipal housing assignment. We provide information, professional assistance and housing support.
