Streetwork Crossroad

A community-based social prevention service for homeless people, seniors, families and individuals in need.

We seek out people at risk of social exclusion. We inform the community in the areas where we operate about the possibility of using our services. We provide social counseling and basic needs for these people, thereby reducing the risk of crime and other socially undesirable situations.

Protection of residents in emergencies.

In times of epidemics and emergencies, our main task is to minimize the risks to individuals and thus contribute to the protection of public health.

  • Providing material and food aid.
  • Disseminating information on the current situation.
  • Monitoring and securing the inhabitants of socially excluded localities.
  • Urgent management of the financial situation arising from the emergency.
  • Assistance with increased psychological stress.
  • Providing alternative accommodation.
  • Isolating infectious individuals and attending to their needs.

Our work in pictures

Outreach to potentially vulnerable people takes place in their natural environment (streets, hostels, improvised shelters) or during specific activities (social events). The outreach service also goes to the apartments and homes of seniors who do not use care services.
